Summary
Most small and medium size businesses have similar content managment needs, offered by all 4 CMSs. If you need a specialized module that only one of the CMSs offers, and it would be too expensive to create that module in another CMS, you should select the CMS with the specialized module.
SiteNinja CMS The compelling reasons to select SiteNinja CMS:
- SiteNinja CMS is the most simple to use of all CMSs.
- SiteNinja is quickly deployed for you, with no technical setup.
- SiteNinja is the only CMS that comes with Lifetime Free Support.
- SiteNinja is the only CMS that comes with No-Cost Feature Upgrades for the life of your website.
- SiteNinja is ideal for small to medium size businesses that need to stay focused on their business, not configuring their website.
- SiteNinja modules work seamlessly together and share the same User Experience. Other CMSs have different developers creating modules, which often don't work seemlessly together, and use different ways to manage the same content. In other CMS's you may experience different ways to manage just images, depending on the modules you're using, making the User Experience complicated. SiteNinja's User Experience stays the same, whether you're adding images to a page, blog, event, or product.
- SiteNinja meets all criteria of Google standards for XHTML coding. Google gives higher PageRank to your site if you meet these standards.
- SiteNinja website has over 500 pages of content, most are articles guiding SiteNinja clients how to be successful with their website.
Joomla CMS is a powerful tool, with many pre-built templates. It offers a good balance of design and configurability. For a template website, it is fairly easy to deploy but gets complicated when making changes. The User Interface is much more complicated than SiteNinja or WordPress, and requires a professional to configure and instruct the end user. Adding additional modules will often conflict with modules already installed, causing hours of troubleshooting.
Drupal CMS is more flexible than SiteNinja or Joomla, but is MUCH more expensive to install, add design, and configure any custom programming. This tool is only intended if you need maximum flexibility and can afford higher than average web development fees.
WordPress CMS is targeted to personal websites, and small and medium-sized businesses. After SiteNinja, WordPress has the smallest learning curve for Users. Its strong feature is Blogging, although it has improved other CMS features in recent years. There are better options if you want to integrate E-commerce into the site. Needs a professional to install and configure. There are so many default areas of content that can be added to a page that many sites overwhelm their visitors. Let's keep it simple!
